Winter Feed Worries?

Hey Friend,
Ive spoken often on my YouTube channel about our concerns around feeding our cattle this winter. Our winter feed budget shows that we are 1629 silage bales short of what is required to get us through.
We have options available to us but all of them are going to require bringing in produce from off farm, whether its straw, cereals or alternative byproducts - All of which come at a cost.
This is why I have developed a feed cost calculator to help breakdown and understand the costs and expectations of our diets.

The calculator allows you to add your group size, avaerage starting weight, target finishing weight, expected DLWG, purchase price (or cost of production) and start date. This will allow the approximate finishing date to be calculated as well as other metrics.

If you then use 'Daily Feed Ration' box to enter the relevant details of your diet, the 'Totals' box's will automatically fill. This will allow to the final cashflow calculator box to auto fill and give you the monthly breakdown of how much money each individual ingredient and as well as the total monthly cost, allowing you to accurately order and cashflow your diets.

But wait, there's more! If you are using grazed grass as part of your animals diet, you can used the 'Grazed Grass Calculator' on the second sheet to help you work out how much it is costing you! Taking out all the guess work in grazing.
